That's if you're a "BT Broadband, BT Mobile, or BT Home Networking"
customer.  Just having a BT landline doesn't appear to be sufficient.

I'm on the 250minutes/UKP10 tariff, which seems to work.  I've never
actually tried it in a BT hotspot, though: all my usage is roaming on
T-Mobile
