In stark contrast to MST the author of DBIC who is exceedingly attentive 
to the mailing list, IRC, and patches. DBIC is considerably more capable 
in terms of SQL generation than CDBI not to mention pre-fetching and a 
bunch of other stuff. I have semi-promised to do a lightning talk on this...
